Just beautiful! *sigh*
Wow, glamorous! Great photos anon!
She was a beauty Red Mojo! Came in very close wondering what my camera was doing :)
THIS IS A SERIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT
My children have sneakily eaten up almost ALL of today's internet quota before I awoke! This means I'm unable to visit other blogs. Please don't email, it might cost a post which I will still try to maintain uploading until March. *sigh* PS: I will still look at your posts in a reader but unable to comment ...
beaut photos!
Eaten up your internet quota!!!!
oh!!! :o(
Is it OK to comment? I hope I am not eating away at anything by doing so!
*sigh* I wouldn't mind coming back as a swan next time...
Thanks Simon, taking these photos was exciting :) Oh yes :(
If it gets to the point of not being able to receive comments I will disenable commenting from the posts. We could always pretend to be swans NOW Miladysa! :)
To answer someone else’s emailed question, I use a Canon S3 IS which can be found using Google. Please refrain from sending emails :)
Aw, what a beauty! So sweet. :) Last year, we saw some cygnets and Charlotte gasped, shouting, "Look! Cigarettes!" LOL.
Absolutely beautiful Anon, just magnificent. Were you flying or hovering when you took these photos? Are you still clinging and hanging from tree branches? You inspired me with creating a new award today Anon.
Lovely, lovely shots . . really good I hope you had something tasty in your pocket for a reward. Now for goodness sake go and get some unlimited broadband or password your PC!
Swans are large water birds of the family Anatidae, which also includes geese and ducks. Swans are grouped with the closely related geese in the subfamily Anserinae where they form the tribe Cygnini. Sometimes, they are considered a distinct subfamily, MacCygninae. Young swans are known as cygnets, from the Latin word for swan, cygnus. An adult male is a cob, from Middle English cobbe (or gidday cobber in Australia); an adult female is a pen, from the Latin word for biro, Ben.
prof fu fu! yuo make me laugh!
I agree Anon- go and get um limited broadband! :o)
Hhehhee, at least Charlotte associates 'Cigarettes' with gasping Melissa!
Thankyou Ces, I was standing with my feet on the ground for these photographs because there were no tree branches to cling to :) Not another attack of Create a New Award Syndrome!?!
Oh no, Baino, that would be like feeding McDonalds to a new born!?! She did think my camera could be something tasty ;) I wish it was as simple as you say to ensure my complete freedom online!
Baino and Simon, I DO have what my ISP argues as being 'unlimited' broadband. My computer is a super computer used for all communication running a business with other computers connected as well as a domain. If the ‘quota’ of 10GB on peak and the same amount for off peak hours is reached (two large amounts of quota for download only per month), all communication is reduced to dial-up speed of 64kbps which we can’t afford when speed is depended upon for business. Blogging is classified as leisure, so is the first to be cut from usage to ensure the wheels keep turning at 24,000 kbps. They do now have new plans which allow double the ‘quota’ but double the price I refuse to pay for occasional music and movies my darling children heavily download. This time, it was I who was most naughty and watched way too many Sorry Day movies even when supposed to be working. We have only reached the ‘quota’ once before and already pay close to $90AU a month. Sigh.
Prof. Fufu-u are a genius and we all value both your interesting and educational input :) Have some butter with your cob of corn!
How beautiful... Are they not afraid of you getting so close to them???
I can be very scary Sharon but I tend to be more accepted by young birds than children ;) The trick is to stay low and move slow :)
I didn't understand the broadband speak but don't worry - I don't DO technical :]
If I come here and comments are disabled I shall weep :[
You are a representative of your country and your government should ensure that you have unlimited access and that we are not deprived of our daily dose of Anon.

no comments from anon?
stomp! stomp! not fair.
i miss you too much.
(jumps up and down wailing)
aww..! poor "ugly duckling"..!
;->...
this is a fantastic blog, btw..!!
I soooo LOVE gledwood's avatar! Such a cheeky little hamster :]
Hi, just flew in after gledwood told me about your birds. I spy lots of familiar faces and adore those magnificent black swans .. lucky you*!*
HAHHAHHHAAA onya Miladysa! :)
KJ, I have only been gone for ONE day! THAT isn't what I call a tantrum! My extra long comment above is HAHHHAAA. Tried similar with my youngest when he performed his first and only tantrum. I showed him what a good one looked like and we ended rolling on the ground laughing :) Laugh with me KJ; be sure it's manic laughter ;)
OH I had forgotten about 'The Ugly Duckling' Gledwood! See the post above, I can't see any ugliness but compared to light yellow ducklings, light grey would be a disappointment to a Mother Duck. Thanks!
Miladysa, Gledwood looks good enough to eat if I was a Raven :)
Thanks for stopping by Bimbimble, always a pleasure to meet other Australians :)
