We call them Smelican's and they are Ted's spirit animal, although he denies it and tries to pin the Smeilican on me. We had the unfortunate luck to lodge above the sea-cliffs at Pismo Beach where they sleep and POOP all day and night and we got to enjoy their fragrant on-shore wind smell.
