What is Mum and Bubs up to? Is Dad going to find them gone?

Aww, fuzzers! Those beaks make them look so serious for such little tykes! :)

HA the 'fuzzer's' bill does resemble an old man's nose injured after a fall. It was very busy with lessons from Mum, Melissa :)

How cute! That daddy sure is interested in something...

Or the opposite Red Mojo! Could be NOT interested in something and avoiding it altogether ... ;)

What do you mean?

What does it mean, is it a boomerang?

Don't tell me you're a DAD Modroom!?!

It means Daddy is busy with business and can't share in the business with baby, Blown. Harry didn't start with 'B' but BOOMERANG does!

the fuzzy feathers are my favorite: need i remind you that these ducks are my cousins?

Hmmmm, I'm not too sure about a Kookaburra being THAT closely related to a Moorhen KJ ... unless you are kissing cousins of course ;)

Next time I go down the dell - to where the pond is - I am going to photograph one of our Moorhens for you :]

GREAT Miladysa! I have been thinking of doing a special post because several Bird Stalkers have posted in response to BirdAnonymous posts ... you already being one of them! :)

I do not like fuzzy feathers. I have a phobia to fuzzy feathers on the account that I had an accident with fuzzy feathers when I was a teenager. Oooh, I have flashbacks. Eoooh!

*GASP*! Oh dear Ces, *gasp* I hope that wasn't your boa when on stage! Try to think of snakes instead };-} Mwhahahahaaa *gasp*

No Anon, very tragic and I felt horrible. The mother duck, I could see the puzzled look on her eyes. It was then that I realized that animals no matter how pea-brained "love" their young. It was an accident.

NO CES! You didn't run over a duckling DID YOU!?!

Don't feel too badly Ces, like you said it was an accident :) I however developed an allergy for dogs after having to put mine down when it began eating sheep on a farm ... :(

It is true about animal's love for their young, the same can be said for many of their partners also ...
