Little Pied Cormorants







The Little Pied Cormorant is a common Australian waterbird, found on water bodies of almost any size.

Haha, the littlest one keeps turning around and saying, "Is it still coming?" Hardwax :)

Pied means birds are black and white but often have brightly coloured beaks and legs. Perriette, the difference between the Pied Cormorant and a Little Pied Cormorant is that the Pied has black trousers on but you can see the white thighs of a Little Pied one! Heehee. You can also see a difference in their masks :)
