Late Afternoon

Tried stalking in the late afternoon. OH look, a couple of Masked Lapwings are just leaving - missed them.

Plenty of stalks here; not the bird kind. Is that a Purple Swamphen up-ending in the background - too far to tell.

The light is harsher than early in the morning.

Too late for breakfast ...

Be sure to climb down before dinnertime Modroom - it's nearly Winter time and you will catch a cold!

How do you know that the mushroom is not poisonous? I can't tell. It looks like the ones we have here around the area where the ferral dogs urinate. This place looks scary but from a porch would be beautiful. Do you have snakes?

There are no guidelines to identify poisonous mushrooms Ces. Best not to eat wild ones, especially the ones that grow from ferral dog's urine where you live HAHA. Yes, we have more snakes than anywhere else in the world! Not in Winter time which is nearly now :)
