Gym Swing

Close up of knot work for swing at Jack's Castle. Made from seeds, wood, rope and cooking twine.

Choose organic materials that can be chewed in case of entanglement. Best wood and seeds are found in the garden to ensure they haven't been treated or fumigated.

Jack will enjoy swinging, climbing and destroying his new gym. It's even better than the tyre swing outside his Castle!

A lot of the knotting was done during Jack's free inside house time. He had fun trying to stop the knots and felt the desire to chew on every piece including my fingers.

He should be pleased with your fine work, you'd make a very good basket weaver too.

This is great! You can macrame? You hippie you! Or is this also a hillbilly thing?

Old basket weaver, pottery and batik creator Modroom. Jack can make knots too!

Made the Gym Swing up as I went along Perriette. Used to teach *blush* it was a 70s thing! Was a Brownie earlier, hehee.

Mmmmm.... Jack is a lucky bird with a very talented mummy... :)

Fingers might need bandages after knotting and Jack's chewing, MerlinPrincesse. Jack wants me to dress like a mummy!

Beautiful! The tender loving care you've put into this gym.
Also the swing looks like a pair of earrings I used to have, although they were a little smaller.

A "little" smaller Hardwax? Hhehhehheeeee, how large are the holes in your ears now?
