It looks like it's floating on a spotted bean-bag. A lusciously colour ed head.
Its neck would be very sore by now if it was on a beanbag Modroom. Its head is green all over but saturates from neighbouring colours for camouflage - I guess.

You should return to IF and use these birds as your entry. Let's see, you could have used the last photo for "Citrus" - the bird ate the lemon and it was too sour so it hid it's head! The other one was Neighbor, neighbour for you and you certainly have many photos that qualify. Please return to IF.

Hmmmm, it would feel dishonest to post 'old' photographs on Illustration Friday, and don't have the time to take a new photo to suit the topic. It would bring observers .... hmmm. Yes, I do have 'different' neighbours to most Ces :)
