Chewing keeps Jack occupied for hours, branches and cones provide a source of stimulation. Jack, Eucalyptus trees and Banksias are all natives to Australia. Eucalyptus oil inside bark is a natural health tonic; also trace elements and minerals that are beneficial to Jack’s health.
Cotton rope or leather can be cut for emergencies, unlike metal chains. Other materials used are natural wooden beads, mother of pearl, pine cones and bells. Jack goes ballistic when there are bells! Shells and bone provide a source for Calcium. Berry or grape surprises can be placed inside large seed pods. Alternate toys every few days to prevent boredom.
