He does look threatening doesn't he Joy Eliz! He's only a little one. This bird looks like he has been 'repaired' and let back into the 'wild'. His wing feathers are fine, but that tail looks damaged.
Actually, there was a fine selection of foods not a meter away Modroom! This lorikeet likes to be hand fed! It's true I can't feed and hold the camera at the same time but forgot on purpose - he has to learn :)

No he isn't Perriette! There was another one that mistook me as a tree or simply wanted a cuddle...
