It's been raining. Raining a lot! Once again the Rainbow Lorikeets arrive for the wet weather.
Peek-a-boo!
If I bob up and down really fast you can't take my photo.
Bored now.

All this rain is making little difference to the level of dam water for our local water supply.
Dam it. The Rainbow Lorikeets provide a colourful accompaniment to the rain but can't help with the collection of it.
Modroom, someone from the UK mentioned we need a good two months of rain to offset immediate consequences of the drought. The lorikeets do try to keep their mouths closed when it rains, to help with less water consumption.
Is this why you keep saying you are boring? Because of a bird?
Birds’ opinions do not sway reflection upon myself - Perriette! Maybe a little of what Jack thinks manipulates ... he is the King of the Castle ... BUT the lorikeets do avoid my camera by sticking their beaks up in the air when looking the other way and bobbing up and down very fast! The bobbing is only excitement. They can't help it when they see me :)
